Run Environment and Devices

Test can be run against an environment if the projects has one or more environments. Attaching an environment to the execution will provide more information and generate more scenarios for each test:

• Run player will provide information about the Environment variables.
• Each selected device will add a scenario for each test.
• In the test scenario with a given device, information about the device is provided on screen.

Executions only support one environment. The user must repeat the same test selection and create another run to select a different environment.

Select environment

Selecting an environment and devices is an optional feature of tests executions. If one is not selected, the Run Player won't display any information about environments, nor create scenarios for devices.

After selecting tests and triggering a new execution Testslick will display an environment setup form.

Select devices

Once an environment is selected, the form provides the list of devices of the respect environment. The user can select one or more devices or leave the selection blank to add all devices.

If no selection is made, the Run will include all devices of the selected environment.
